Nicolò Amato, alia NessuNettuno. Born in Messina in 1982, where the waters of the Stretto of Messina are as the amniotic fluid in which we grew up, he formed its art.

He approached there with the history of mythical figures such as nymphs, sorceresses, wild women, terrible monsters, strange creatures, whales, fairies, become symbols, allegories, metaphors which he relate to the power of nature, that still today testify our needs and ours hopes. nessunNettuno presents paintings in which he talks about nature, the marine world, fish, plants, and does so in turn through symbols, allegories and metaphors on the wall and streets as new language in the mediterranean.

Born in Pavia on 18th april 1971. He studied Chemistry, Experimental Theatre and film-making and History of Art. He has been living and working in Beijing since 2003, as a multimedia and performance artist, director, curator, researcher, writer and lecturer. His work focuses on social intervention and relational dynamics to expand the notion of art practice beyond existing structures, spaces and hierarchies and engage directly with reality in multiple ways.

He is the founder and director of the Social Sensibility Research & Development Department at Bernard Controls Asia in 2011.

In 2011 he held an exhibitions “Colori di Puglia” in Tianjin and Chongqing, in China.
The same year, he installed the exhibition “Io non brucio” in an italian forest devastated by the fire.

After the Art school diploma he starts attended the classes of Professor Concetto Pozzati, and graduated at the Bologna Academy of Fine Art in year’ 2001. He begins to work at the MAMBO ( Bologna Modern Art Museum) and acquire the teaching degree in pictorial disciplines. paolo scoppola

Paolo Scoppola creates interactive video installations based on natural interfaces. Born in Rome in 1971, his passion for music and drawing blossomed at school. He discovered his interest in photography later and then for computer science, which he went on to study at university. After graduating, he worked for ten years in the development of virtual reality applications and 3D software, also creating some musical projects for television productions and a series of photographic reportages. After a short period of lecturing at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography (Italian National Film School), he devoted his time to interactive video installations. In 2008 he presented his first work: Reflection, at the Festival of Spoleto. In 2011, he extended his interests to interaction based on brain waves, developing research projects in collaboration with the University of Trieste. He currently works with advertising agencies, research organizations and participates in festivals and cultural events.

AquaBoll

A big screen welcomes the audience with background music. As soon as someone approaches, AquaBoll start drawing the outlines of the audience, in a continuous overlapping forms. The colors are taken from seawater and alternating with white lines reminiscent of the surf. It 'a continuous floating in colors and shapes that evoke the natural relationship between man and water. The gestures of the spectators are then accompanied by the sound of the waves, the intensity of which depends upon the movements, giving the illusion that these trails of color are precisely the waves of the sea.

The sound, the colors, its unpredictability, its poetry and its reality to live with and protect, WATER.

enrico ponzone

Italian entrepreneur, writer and freelance photographer.
Born in Milano, brought up in Tangiers, Morocco, he then studied in Belgium and moved to London to work in finance. His first encounter with photography occurred in the early 90's during a course with Magnum Photos Patrick Zachmann at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles, France.  In 2001 he founded a photography website which became a reference in travel photography and partnered with leading travel portals, hospitality sites such as Relais & Chateaux as well as photo archives like Scala Group. Enrico is a keen traveller with a particular focus on Africa. The photos presented were taken during a field trip in Nubia, Sudan, in April 2011.

Carlo Pisa was born in Italy. Currently he lives and works between Italy and Russia.

In 1982 he started studying photography and began work as David Lees’ assistant on the staff of the photographers of the Time Life group. He also was part of international working teams and was involved in international workshops on photojournalism hosted by Alex Webb, Bob Sacha, Tomasz Tomaszewski and Jane Evelyn Atwood. 

From 1984 to 2004 he worked as a professional photojournalist.

All his editorial works are a sensitive attempt to tell stories about people and places making use of a language which enabled him to express the frailty of the images of the life we have before our very eyes.

As of 2004, he has been engaged in individual researches meant to be the first step of an exclusively artistic path.

Italian artist living in Beijing. As professional photographer, Marco’s work spans documentary photography (vanishing cultures, ancient traditions and contemporary culture) and assignments like portraits, editorials and movies.

Born in Padua, the ancient and magic world apart of Venice is his port. Only by deeply digging into history it is possible to read the present and the future of mankind.

After architecture and industrial design studies, Cimino worked few years in fashion and commercial photography. Spiritually a nomad and always in need for a more deep and intense photography, the first trip to China drove him to documentary photography and to his first exhibition about the vanishing ancient Chinese culture.

If avoiding human beings was his start point, nowadays, Cimino’s work focuses on genuine human emotions even in the absence of human beings. 

Photos tell stories. Cimino makes of each photo a whole strongly standing alone world, a whole strongly standing alone story.

About Calias 

Italian photographer Francesca Casciarri (1970) and Norwegian photographer Eirik Linder Aspelund (1975) first met at Magnum Photos in Paris as interns in 2001. Since 2004 they are signing their photographic works together with the name Calias. Francesca Casciarri completed her university degree in social geography before dedicating herself to photography. Eirik Linder Aspelund attended the Oslo Photo Art School before leaving for Paris with a grant from the Norwegian Photographer Association. Calias are currently based in Italy.”

About their work

“Calias work primarily in the field of social documentary photography and since 2007 they have been concentrating on a long term project about water conflicts. Their series of reportages called “DamAge” is putting a special focus on the consequences of big dams. 

For this project Calias have documented stories from Italy, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Chile. Their work has been exhibited in large parts of the world.”

Susetta Bozzi is a freelance photographer. After living in India for a decade she moved to Beijing  in 2003. Free-lance photographer starting his career as a journalist for the Italian press agency Ansa in Brussels – Belgium. Based on a sociologic university background, his favorites themes are related to documentary photography.

His works have beein publishes works in magazines and newspapers as well in international reports of United Nations Agencies like Unicef, Unfpa as well in NGO’s documents.

In 2004, he produced a multimedia reportage on violence in Brazil, which was edited by "Foto Up".

He exposed his works at:
1996 “This socalled Latin America” at the Galerie Verhaeren  (Brussels, Belgium) and in 2002 at the Gallery of Arts Institute of the University of Brasilia, Brazil;
2003 collective exhibit “New Talents” at the Brasilia Photographic Festival “FOTOARTE”, Brasilia, Brazil;
2007 “Textile women workers of Gamarra”, at the Peruvian National Congress, Lima, Peru;
2010 “Portraits from children social projects”, at the European Trade Unions Institute, Brussels, Belgium
2014 “People of Sarajevo”, at Black Box gallery, Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In 2002 he received an award at the second Art Salon of Brasilia. As part of my trainings, I attended workshops with the photographers Antonin Kratochvil (VII Agency), Laurent Van der Stockt (Gamma Agency) and Anne-Lise Large.

He has been living in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina from 2009 and 2014. In Lima, Peru, and 10 years in Brazil, between Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia.

diana bagnoli

Diana was born in Turin in 1982. After completing a degree in communication she moved to Barcelona to study and then work as a freelance photographer, focusing on portrait and social reportage.

In 2009 at the FIOF Photography Awards, she won first prize in reportage and photography of the year through a series about “cheap” houses in the Catalan capital. Now she is based in Italy but works around the world, telling stories and publishing her pictures on national and international magazines such as Marie Claire, Le Monde Magazine, Vanity Fair, Gioia, etc.

She has exhibited his work in Palermo at the Pot Show Event, in Bourbon Lancy at the european festival of portrait, in galleries based in Turin and Barcelona and at the Xinhua Gallery in Beijing.
